Brand Agreement
This is a short summary, in plain English, of how Expeio works with your brand. You accept it when you create an account.
-
Expeio is the seller
When your products are sold to a business in the UK, Expeio is the seller of record. That means Expeio, not your brand, is the legal seller on that sale. Today this covers sales to businesses in the UK only.
-
Your Shopify store
Expeio connects to your Shopify store so that it can read your orders and payouts.
-
How payment is taken
Expeio collects the payment for these sales through Shopify Payments.
-
What Expeio keeps
Expeio keeps its fee, as shown on the pricing page. It also keeps a flat fee for each chargeback that is lost.
-
UK VAT
UK VAT on UK sales is held back from what you are paid. Expeio pays it to HMRC.
-
When you are paid
You are paid every Friday, for the payouts that have arrived by then. A statement comes with each payment.
-
Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds and chargebacks are taken out of your later payouts.
-
Records
Expeio keeps its sales and tax records after an account is deleted.
-
Ending it
Either side, you or Expeio, can end this arrangement.
